NAME

DE BLANKK" is a coined French word. It was inspired by the Buddhist concept of "Ku (emptiness) = BLANK", which is closely related to the philosophy of Japanese craftsmanship. While respecting ancient stereotypes and preconceptions, we question the modern world and aim to be a "social presence like art" that can continue to deliver spiritual richness and curiosity by opening up new possibilities and perspectives for many people.

At the age of 17, I witnessed my mother close her flower shop. The words I heard then — “Flowers are not necessities” — became the beginning of my lifelong question: what makes something truly valuable to human life? Since then, my work has been rooted in exploring the meaning of people, things, and experiences. DE BLANKK creates emotional experiences that, like flowers, quietly move the heart and help people reconnect with themselves, with others, and with the world around them. Through space, clothing, publishing, Japanese culture, and creative brands, we transform stories, ideas, and time into lasting value. In an age where many people feel disconnected, we aim to build a new cultural industry that connects sensitivity and economy — and turns emotional experience into a lasting asset for society.
